PHP OPTIMIZATION - SHORT TERM CONTRACT
I am looking for someone highly experienced in PHP, MySql, Ajax and Java Script to complete some optimization on a web scraping application. Experience in using the PCNTL_FORK function (or similar) for multi-threaded web scraping as well as experience optimizing scraping cron jobs for speed would be a plus. I expect the contract to last for 1 – 2 weeks with the opportunity for continued work. The role would be in New York and require working from home with update meetings in Manhattan.
