information now.  Must have WordPress experience.  Open to both contract and 
full-time candidates and would like to add 1-2 people to the team sooner than 
later.

PHP Developer with WordPress experience - Full-time or  Contract
Music distribution firm in the Flatiron District are looking  for PHP 
Developers with prior WordPress experience to join their team.  They're open to 
full-time and contact candidates.  You should be someone who loves music and is 
seeking a casual atmosphere with really smart hard working (but really fun) 
people.  Great benefits, generous vacation  schedule and a fun place to work.  
A minimum of 3 years experience of PHP programming, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and 
JavaScript
* Experience of PHP 5 and OOP beneficial
* Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS and BuddyPress 
features and websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.
* Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
*Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
*Creation of custom post types
*Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding 
standards
*Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
*Theme/Template integration
*Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial

* Knowledge and experience of web accessibility

* Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
* Use of jQuery / AJAX / Prototype / script.aculo.us an advantage
* Great communication skills -- written and spoken
