The position is with a mid-sized accounting/ auditing firm located in midtown Manhattan. It is a Contract-To-Hire role with 3-6 months of consulting initially. The role will be responsible for developing new web / CMS applications as identified by management through packaged and customized applications. They currently have multiple web and CMS apps to develop, enhance, and support. The person will create and/or maintain company/ client Intranets, enhance existing web applications and work to make sure all systems are integrated. He or she must have prior design experience. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of web development/design experience. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related experience preferred. Skills Required Content management systems experience such as Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress Lamp - Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP Event driven programming, XML, XSLT, and CSS Recent Design experience Pluses include: .NET, Enterprise Library, Web application, Web services, ADO.NET, VSTO 3.0 SharePoint 2007 and 2010.
