Title: Senior Web Developer Location: Bedminster, NJ Job Description: This is a highly diverse position supporting management in a large network organization for a major wireless communications provider. Duties may vary from day to day. Responsibilities will include attending conference calls, working on our Project Management database and our internal website. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and installs new applications and programs; Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality; Monitor program execution for expected performance; Respond to errors and emergencies within applications and programs; Provide first-tier support to end users for IT applications; Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications; Assist in the implementation and maintenance of databases and systems; Complete the necessary documentation for business cases, process, analysis, functional requirements, and testing as needed; Facilitate planning and functional design sessions to support requirements and business solutions; Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: mobility, telephony, networking. Requirements: Strong Codel Igniter previous work experience. Prefer also that candidate have Chat room experience. Dashboard previous work experience. Candidates must show strong Web Development in PHP skills (Managed PHP Server with Oracle database server access). Candidate will be assigned specific tasks with deadlines and be expected to coordinate with appropriate parties to complete all necessary tasks. Candidate should be comfortable working alone and be self motivated and able to prioritize their work. Job Expectations: - Develop, Manage, & Update PHP based Intranet Site for Technical Team - Technical Documentation Review, Editing, Formatting (Web Based, Word Based, PowerPoint Based) - Working with team members to better understand content for the web site and technical documentation Technical Skills: - PHP - CodeIgniter - Unix (Solaris) - Apache 2.2+ - jQuery Additional Skills: - Strong written communication skills - Ability to coordinate multiple team members to - Strong document editing skills. - Ability to develop proper process flows in Visio - Strong Database structure and Querying skills. - Self driven and motivated individual that is detail and deadline oriented - Desire and ability to understand network infrastructure, design, & processes as implemented by the telecommunications company to assist with documentation review and intranet management - Ability to effectively management time, provide accurate project milestones, and deliver by deadlines.
