skills (can build a normalized database schema if asked to), and someone
that wouldn't mind working with jQuery and CSS to make things look
aesthetically pleasing. All of our tools are built in house and we
utilize Yii to deliver content across varying digital platforms

Responsibilities:
Provide php programming and functionality for consumer services
Build and maintain website in LAMP environment
Translate business data and information into program design
Tackle daily challenges providing creative problem solving recommendations
Requirements:
5+ years experience working with the following technologies:
- PHP 5.2/5.3 /5.4 (curl, memcached)
- SQL / MySQL 5.x (cluster configuration and MySql optimization)
- JavaScript / jQuery (UI)
- HTML and CSS
- Linux
- MVC
Proficiency in object oriented development and ability to apply OO concepts
Experience with test driven development and php unit
Excellent interpersonal, business management, time management, and
developmental skills.
Experience with version control â SVN or Git
Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines under
normal circumstances, and ability to make trade-offs and when needed to
optimize outcome when conditions change
Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical
and non-technical roles.
Degree in computer science or equivalent degree
Would be great:
PHP frameworks like Zend, Yii, Symphony etc.
You tell great jokes
REST/RPC API design and development
Experience with protocol buffers
AWS â elastic beanstalk, EC2, L13 and S3
