Position Summary: The engineer is expected to have strong understanding of web technology architectures and industry standard protocols. This resource works closely with technical leads and understands the overall architecture of the solution. The engineer then develops requirements and specifications in support of the agile development process. In a typical implementation the Architect's role is reduced over time and the engineer oversees the development team and ensures delivery of the solution. Required Skills: o A Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required o 3+ years of software engineering and architecture experience o Comprehensive experience with Magento Enterprise Edition o Proven ability to interact effectively with people in all levels of the organization o Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team o Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues and drive resolution with cross functional teams o Strong decision-making skills, and an understanding of where projects fit into the overall architecture strategy o Ability to roll with changes in a dynamic work environment, shaping changes into opportunities.
