My direct client is looking for a Director of Engineering to join a NYC based
Digital Media company that is strong and growing. I am looking for an
excellent engineer that can offer advice and leadership to the teams on a wide
range of technical issues.
Looking for a visionary and strategic thinker that can align the 6 engineering
teams. You will work along with the director of technical operations for the
delivery of the digital media platform.
You will continue building the engineering team as we are looking to add 10
engineers by year's end. All while maintaining the collegial environment we
have worked so hard to build.
BS or MS Computer Science or related scientific field
Expert knowledge of PHP, Python, Javascript
Have expert knowledge in MySQL, Percona, Redis (NoSQL and/or graph databases a
+)
Ability to provide frameworks that empower thoughtful and effective
problemsolving and idea exploration.
