Folks:
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the maintainers of
joda-time for a fine library. Despite the one minor shortcoming I found,
which appears to be a symptom of a tough problem to solve in general,
the library is excellent. I have already seen a marked improvement in
the design of the application into which I have introduced it, and
although it'll take some time for the team to start speaking in terms of
instants, durations and periods, they'll get there.
