I just find its much easier to use. Trying to use CVS with SF and not have to login all the time is a pain. I got it working once, but could never figure out how to do it again. Also, TortoiseSVN is a fantastic tool, whereas CVS GUIs (for Windows) are terrible.

I still find Apache subversion slower than it was when it was CVS. I guess I've not really seen any benefits from the switch to svn.
