I'm working on an application where date translation is very important,
especially for translation of days and months. The standard date API is not
good enough for us right now because it doesn't work for special language
like maltese or lituanian where the name of days or months are declined
depending on other other data information.
in Joda-Time, Is the data catalog for those names the same as for the
standard Date API, or is it a better one that takes those situations into
account? And if it's another one, is there a way to customize it in a way,
so that we can possibly fix errors locally?
