Hi,
There is no Persian calendar in Joda-Time at present, nor do I expect
to be adding it soon as I have other priorities.

To implement it yourself, you are probably best following what
IslamicChronology does. You will need a single PersianChronology
class, and then different classes for each of the fields, such as
year, month and day.

If you would like to donate the result to Joda-Time, then I could
consider including the code in a future Joda-Time release.

thanks,
Stephen
