Hi Iain,

You are right to rant - I think BBC Prime is disappointing. I guess we
have it mainly for Eastenders, but even that is 2 weeks behind here. I
suppose the thing that gets up my nose is that some of the series are up
to 8 years old. Granted I was living in France by then, but they have a
tendency to not only repeat shows every couple of months or so
(sometimes more frequently) but you can have whole nights devoted to ONE
show!

When I say whole nights I mean from about 3pm till 1am. That's when I
find Sky News more interesting to watch than a night of Ballykissangel!

Back to the reception problem. I rebooted again a few times last night -
but couldn't get the reception to sort itself out. Our recordings of
Plus Belle La Vie on FR3 last night and the night before were all
garbled too (I had left the Freebox HD to record stuff while we were
away for 3 weeks - and all the shows recorded during that time were fine).
Then this morning I rebooted first thing, so that Rémy could watch
Cbeebies - and hey presto everything back to normal. I guess Free must
have had a problem - but then again as we are quite a way out of town it
might be down to that too.
