I realize this has absolutely nothing to do with this group, but I had to post it anyway.
BEER CAKE In the food section of the L.A. Times recently, they published an interesting looking recipe for beer cake. The recipe was adapted from a new book by food writer Tessa Kiros entitled Piri Piri Starfish: Portugal Found. She writes. “Use a lovely dark, full- flavored beer that will show up well in your cake.
