LONG PIG- from 2008-unfortunately the title's the best thing about it. some lovely scripture spouting folks gather up sinners-you know-"hippie" protesters, sluts, partying college students. they humiliate, torture and then dine. the people enjoying the meals are the powerful ones-industrialists, the super wealthy.-you know they cannibalize the planet so... the movie starts out looking like it's gonna be wacky but cool. after about 15 minutes it just bogs down. there's a lot of boring stuff. inane dialogue and thought monologues. i think they were actually trying to make an artsy fartsy message film or something. about the last 30 minutes there's some torture and stuff. the folks being told they are being judged for their sins and crap like that. this movie was over 2 hours long. unless you are like me and just have to see a movie with the title long pig i would avoid this.
