3 girls and 4 guys are on easter vacation from medical school and are going to a mountain cabin for some winter fun. they are to meet girl number 4 there. the are told a tale of strange goings on going back to ww 2 when the area they are in had been a nazi stronghold. sure enough, they find zombified nazis. i loved this. i think it's really hard to be original and creative with zombie flicks or maybe most folks don't try but i thought this succeeded. these were the fastest zombies i think i've ever seen. they were smart, still acted under their commander's orders. used bayonets and even binoculars. plenty of humor that didn't seemed forced. gobs of tasteful gore. my favorite scene may have been at the beginning as they are leaving their vehicles to hike to the cabin. one asks if there's cell phone reception, of course there's none. then he asks how many movies start out with people losing cell phone reception and they start naming horror flicks in which this happened. then we have hanging over a cliff by zombie intestines and a sort of wishbone scene, zombies have hold of the guy's head, 2 arms and 2 legs and pull. check it out.
