Title: Linux System Administrators Experience: 5.00 to 7.00 Mandatory Skills: *Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent qualification / University Degree *With 4-6 years relevant hands on experience in Linux Administration. *UNIX skills in the areas of Linux skills principally in SUSE/ Red Hat and Certification preferred *INTEL hardware knowledge/experience *Knowledge / experience with WEB technologies (Weblogic, APACHE, TOMCAT) *Knowledge F5 Technology *Experienced in administering network services such as DNS, NIS, NFS, LDAP, send mail, ftp, remote access, and security management systems. *Experienced in systems server infrastructure planning, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance. *Experienced with capacity planning, utilization review, and performance monitoring. *Ability to work independently, as well as part of a global support team with minimal supervision. *Have an analytical mind which can apply trouble shooting skills systemically and methodologically to identify root cause and resolve problems. Responsibilities: *Responsibility for the provision of day to day support and administration of a production mission critical infrastructure environment. *Work as part of the IT Operations team providing critical infrastructure systems support for a 24X7 mission critical enterprise environment, supporting the Asia Pacific, EMEA and the America *Will be a key member of the Singapore IT Team who should be prepared to work on projects, designing and implementing solutions and day to day operations, managing and resolving daily support trouble tickets Maintenance *Monitoring systems operation, analyzes problems and malfunctions. *Work with Senior team members to verify configurations are up to date and valid *Troubleshoot performance (CPU, Memory, Swap, I/O) problems *Understand and apply performance planning principles *Work with US - Data center to handle escalated server issues *Ensuring computing environment availability *Resolve system & user problem with in define SLA *Deploy patches as required to resolve system/application issues Implementation of Services *Deploy, Operate and Support computing products and services to met customer requirements *Maintain active and direct interaction with key customers, gather and understand customer requirements for computing services *Work with the team members to develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLA) *Participate in construction, maintenance and sharing of SOP's and best practices Pre-requisites Bachelor Degree in Computer science or equivalent qualification / University Degree * With 4-6 years relevant hands on experience in Linux/Unix Administration.
