Boot Slax from your hard drive (installing Slax) To install Slax to the hard drive, use the slax-install command. It should ask you where you want to install it, and then install it. It installs LILO with it, which means that the install could make Windows, (or other operating systems installed on the drive) unbootable. So you should only do this if you know how to use and edit LILO. Use and create a swap partition If your hard drive already contains a Linux swap partition, Slax will automatically detect it and use it. However, if you don't want to mess around with your drive and create a swap partition, you can create a swap file. Swapping to an NTFS drive should be possible.
