Bismillah, Klo install pake Synaptic Ubuntu kayaknya udah nggk perlu dijelaskan lagi, ya ngak? Semua paket tersebut sudah tersedia di repo Ubuntu. Buka Synaptic trus search paket yg akan diinstall. Klo text editor selain vim, nano dan gedit apa ya? Sekalian aj pake web editor seperti Quanta, Kompozer, Bluefish.
