I'm not sure if we are confusing CMS "Content Management System" with CRM "Customer relationship management" but if that not the case, then it depends where you're standing
You could look at it as a framework to develop using it's API that if you are a developer looking for a tested framework, or if you are a company and you want to sell more and faster then look at it as a modular system with huge modules database and you only need to understand how to mix and match those modules to get the project done (personally I made some good money out of drupal in a quick-mash-and-sell mode) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ ### Jordan Linux Users Group ### http://Jolug.org/ http://groups.google.com/group/Jolug ### Ubuntu Jordan LoCo Team ### https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JordanTeam http://lists.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-jo ### Ojuba Linux ### http://ojuba.org/ ### Jordan PHP ### http://groups.google.com/group/JoPHP -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
