Someone talked about doing it in the past... I dont remember who. My thoughts are as follows, the goal of the textual DD is to allow a human a way to create the standard .ser file... My guess would be that you'd be better off using one of the many XML parsers out there and starting from scratch instead of beating your head against both setting up JavaCC to parse the code and to properly generate a .ser file for ya...
