Are your sure that the CLASSPATH is correct when you run the
rmiregistry?
In order to launch the rmiregistry with the correct CLASSPATH use the
script registry which is located under $JONAS_ROOT/bin.
( I have seen that the FAQ is not correct on this, sorry)
