Please forgive me if this is slightly out of the scope for this list.

We are interested in developing a testing method for the performance of our
EJBs, and we are trying to identify the most cost-effective tools for the
job, especially for doing blackbox testing for garbage collection leaks,
improper object disposal, deadlocks, etc. (forgive me if I'm not quite up to
speed on the terminology). So far, the only likely candidates that I have
identified are:
* Metamata products (http://www.metamata.com/products/)
* InLine Standard
(http://www.inline-software.com/news/papers/hurwitzwp.html)
The latter is an EJB IDE that includes an "EJB Inspector", for what it's
worth. I have not tried either of these products yet.

Do you have any others that you might recommend?

JProbe Profiler (http://www.klgroup.com/jprobe/profiler/overview.html) seems
more oriented toward analysis of servlets than EJBs; would it be sensible to
try this product?

Can you point us to references for performance testing EJBs?

Thank you.
