This can be improved with the implementation of the isModified thingy that
weblogic uses and is implemented in Jonas ... works like a treat ... my
servlet based system sped up about 400% from doing this ...
If you set your trace level to include 15 in the jonas.properties file
(or BULLEJB.properties for the old versions) then you see lots of
store and load calls, but after isModified then the store calls go away
and it runs off the database cache for the loads ...
If you are using lots of call to entity beans outside of a transactional
scope as well (in a client programme) then this will also cause lots of
disks accesses that are reduced with the isModified thingy ...
