I've used Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise via the JDBC/ODBC bridge
without any real problems.

However, Sybase are now giving away free of charge their pure JDBC jConnect
driver - I recommend you use this. It is a lot more efficient than using
the bridge.

See http://www.sybase.com/products/internet/jconnect/

Subject: Can I use ODBC/JDBC Bridge to acces Database?

Subject says it all - is it possible to use
a Database via the ODBC/JDBC bridge?

I tried it with Sybase SQLAnywhere but I get strange
errors if multiple clients are running with heavy load.
I colud not find any hints in the FAQ if SQLAnywhere or
the ODBC/JDBC bridge may cause the problems.

PS. If I use PostgreSQL all test are ok, but
sadly we need a simple/cheap database that runs
on Windows...

Thanks, Max
