Dear Miroslav,
This looks like a bug kind of problem. But I'd need more info to be
sure, like a printStackTrace of the underlying thrown exception.
I'm presuming by the way that the problem does not occur with
JDK 2.
However, I don't have Hotspot and you probably don't have the
sources of Jonathan. I'll be in touch to sort out a way to
identify and fix the problem.
