Hi all,

why do I always get a compilation error within GenIC,
when I don't put <ejb-link>...</ejb-link> in my
<ejb-ref>...</ejb-ref> description?

Here is an example:

<ejb-ref>
<ejb-ref-name>ejb/AssistantHome</ejb-ref-name>
<ejb-ref-type>Entity</ejb-ref-type>
<home>org.openuss.business.foundation.assistant.AssistantHome</home>

<remote>org.openuss.business.foundation.assistant.AssistantObject</remote>

  Actually I put this "Assistant" in another deployment descriptor,
  so I don't need to put this, right? Because ejb-link is optional.
  But GenIC always gives me this error, if I don't use ejb-link:
  "ejb-link must be defined in ejb/AssistantHome"

<ejb-link>Assistant</ejb-link>

</ejb-ref>

The problem is, if I put the ejb-link tag, then I get
"Assistant" cannot be found in the runtime. It's actually
clear, because the "Assistant" is not in the same deployment
descriptor.

Is this a bug from GenIC?
