I wrote this some time before but seems that no one has recognized it, so I post it again: All batches for Windows still use %1% and so on. This works only on Windows NT. If it is changed to %1 and so on (no trailing %) this works on every windows, including 98 A N D NT, for it is the windows standard. So I would - again - please you to change this. The second problem is properties files: I do not know what java specification tells about that. Do they need to have CR-LF at the end or only CR or LF? The problem ist that Windows98 notepad does not recognize line break when not CR-LF. If it is java specification to have only CR or LF, this is ok. But is it really spec conform or is it just a relict of the UNIX editor that created the file?
