(BTW this subject is more appropriate to jonas-users). Assuming your foreign key is an int: * if it allows null represent it by an Integer member in the CMP bean. * if it doesn't allow null represent it by an int member in the CMP bean. Thus Jonas CMP beans follow the behaviour of the Java language with regard to whether a variable/field allows null. Basically, the scenario is i have a table, which has a column(which can be nullable) that references another table unique identifier. I am using CMP and if this field is null when i try to reference any info in the EJB i get a transaction error. This is beacause it is loading the bean and checking all contraints on the table in question. Rather than rewrite as a BMP, Is there any property settings i can set to say this field can be nullable. (Although it doesnot make much sense at the moment to reference another table and the field can be null, but in future development the field willnot be nullable.).
