ioser12 is not relative to JOnAS. It's bound to your jdk version.
THe message "Cannot start Naming Manager,
java.lang.NullPointerException" is
because the file jndi.properties has not been found by the EJBServer.
Check that it is seen by your CLASSPATH.
I agree that this message is not clear and we'll change this!
