Thanks for that. As far as the "new CMP" element is concerned, will this
include an implementation of the new EJB Query Language (EJB QL)?
Or will that have to wait until later?... it looks like one of the most
challenging parts of the new spec from the point of view of implementation.

Our plans for EJB 2.0 are not fully consolidated.
EJB 2.0 support will be provided step by step between now and somewhere
next year...
I think we will be able to have something more consolidated during the
coming month.
The main works are:
- event driven bean (and JMS integration),
- RMI(IIOP) and CORBA interoperability,
- new CMP.
We will provide JMS integration (using JORAM) in october and event
driven bean for the end of 00.
We are currently consolidating plans for RMI(IIOP), using Jeremie, and
CORBA interoperability.
The new CMP will be based on JORM (Java Object Repository Mapping). A
first version of JORM is now available (I hope it will be soon on
ObjectWeb) and plans for integration within JOnAS are under
consolidation.
