I just checked out and compiled the new version of GenIC from the CVS
repository (version 2.2.5), and it seems to have fixed my problem. Although,
now I have a new worry, that my GenIC is out of sync with the rest of my
JOnAS distribution. I suppose this uncertainty will be cleared up when
ObjectWeb posts new binaries for 2.2.5 on their website. In the meantime,
this workaround seems to work, so far.

2.2.5,
