Recently I found a really essential bug in the ActiveX Bridge from Sun. The problem
is: If someone wants to access and EJB on
JOnAS from a C++ client and not from a Java client, but wants to use RMI, he or she
can easily do this on Windows with Sun's
ActiveX bridge. But there is a small bug that is very bad and prevents this usage: The
bridge makes errors with transporting
java.lang.Number descendants in a manner that no NULL can be get or set. So it's quite
useless for every professional user.
Sun has accepted the bug report and now wants all users to vote for that bug. They fix
it, if enough votes are collected. So
I would please anyone in this forum: Please support my bug report and vote for that
bug! If you find it worth to spend five
minutes in this task, you will help to make many programmer's lives easier! If you
have votes free, give my bug report your
free votes!

Thank you
Markus
