I am new in designing "J2ee appliation" so i have some doubts .
I am designing an j2ee application .
While i am going through the J2ee blueprints ,
There i read about the value objects .
so i decided that i should use javabeans as my value objects.
in my application the BL should be accesiable from both
thin and fat client .
FAT - |
| <-> javabean <-> | Enhydra <-> Oracle .
Thin -
Will there be any problem with this design ?
In some cases , i have master detail relationship .
In that scenarion i am encapsulating my Collection of details bean in to the master
javabean .
Will this be a problem in network traffic ?
For an application portability issue , which type of Entity beans are preferred ?
Did any one has done j2ee application designing with fat client and thin client
with
an app server ?
