Hello,
could you be more precise in your request ? What do you mean by "executing
a query in a CMP bean" ? With CMP you can define finder methods, which
return a collection of your bean instances satisfying a selection criteria
that you define in the deployment descriptor, see
http://www.objectweb.org/jonas/jonas_root/doc/Program.html#Configurin.
If you want to execute some ad hoc queries, through JDBC, in one of
your CMP bean business methods, then you can do it exactly the same way
as you do it for developing ejbFindXXX, ejbLoad, ejbStore, ... in a BMP
entity bean, see
http://www.objectweb.org/jonas/jonas_root/doc/Program.html#Writing
The best thing is that you consult the examples of entity beans delivered
with JOnAS
in examples/src/eb.
Best Regards,
François
