Thanks a lot for the effort I can verify as well with our tests that the
problem persists in 2.3. I have submitted this as a bug to Borland (attached
file) and I had put Jonas product and you as a reference as well (since I'll
be on vacation next week). Hope it is OK.

I have tried to make jonas work with Interbase. Unfortunatly,
it seems that this cannot work in case of multithreading.
Every time I try to run several clients concurrently on the
interbase, I run in the following problem:
Failed to store bean to database:interbase.interclient.DeadlockException:
[interclient][interbase] deadlock
update conflicts with concurrent update
I've looked at the interclient documentation, and it seems that there are
some limitations about multithreading and transaction isolation.
This could explain the problems.
We are about to release jonas 2.3 anyway, without this working...
(but all our other tests work with Interbase)
