Hello,
to deploy EJB components on an application server you only need the deployment
descriptors and the EJB classes and interfaces, generally one part of the
deployment descriptors is specific to the application server, so you will have
to rewrite the jonas specific deployment descriptors into Borland AppServer
specific deployment descriptors (or something similar). If the application
server uses "static" stubs, it will generate the stubs itself. GenIC generates
stubs when deploying on JOnAS. Currently these are RMI or Jeremie stubs
(Jeremie is the rmi personality of an distributed envt called Jonathan,
initially developed by FT R&D ! See the www.objectweb.org site). We are
currently working on an RMI/IIOP version of JOnAS (based on David, also part of
Jonathan), but it will not be available until end of September (plans not
consolidated).
