jonas 2.4 is expected in september (if no problem)
The main changes are:
- possibility to run services inside the jonas JVM.
- possibility to run the registry in the same JVM.
- new Jonathan (3.0 alpha 2) : this new version should be the first
step to support RMI-IIOP.
- support of the J2EE Connector Architecture
- administration via JMX
Most of these are already available in the CVS version, but not
enough tested to be released as an official version.
I hope also to find the time to make the improvements we discussed
about entity bean management.
