The first ObjectWeb conference will take place in Paris on October 30
and 31.

The conference will cover:
- the objectives of the ObjectWeb consortium, its organisation, current
status and perspectives ;
- the presentation and status of current and new ObjectWeb projects
(JOnAS, Jonathan, JORAM, RmiJdbc, JORM, OpenCCM) ;
- the ObjectWeb technical perspectives (support of EJB 2.0, JDO, Web
Services, Advanced Transactions, etc.) ;
- the use of ObjectWeb middleware for teaching distributed systems ;
- the status and challenges of industrial uses of open source
middleware.

The conference is free, but the registration is mandatory (there is an
on line registration powered by JOnAS).
