Hi All, Using RMI the JOnAS performance is quite good taking up 87% of CPU usage in average but RMI has significant drawback that it can only run less than 300 clients simultaneously. If i run more than 300 clients, the server and clients will throw "connection refused" exception.
Using Jeremie as ORB, I can run more than 600 clients simultaneously but the performance of JOnAS with Jeremie is around 1/2 to 2/3 of RMI's. The CPU usage with Jeremie also much less (around 50%). Has anyone have any experiences in this matter? Can anyone suggest how to get both performance and scalability issues solved? Are there any parameters in JOnAS that can be tuned for optimizing ORB(Jeremie/RMI)? Thank you very much.
