Hi,

JOnAS 2.3 supports EJB1.1 spec and a part of EJB 2.0 composed of Message-driven
Beans and of the <resource-env-ref> element of the deployment descriptor. The
persistence aspects (CMP 2.0) will be addressed this year, this will occur with
the integration of a "persistence manager" component, called JORM (that will be
available as opensource on Objectweb in a near future), developed by France
Telecom. This will allow JOnAS to support the CMP2.0 model, but also the use of
different persistence supports, i.e. RDBMS, files, directories, ... Some parts
of CMP 2.0 should be available 1Q2002. Some aspects non directly related to
persistence, such as local interfaces or home methods, may appear earlier.

Best Regards,

Franois
