I can't see why the problem could be related with Windows 95. It looks more
like a configuration problem...
Just to understand your problem better, can you try the following :
- start your name server on machine <MACHINE>
- start your client or server on another machine, specifying these extra
arguments to the java interpreter :
-Ddavid.CosNaming.default_method=0
-Ddavid.CosNaming.default_host=<MACHINE> -Djonathan.tcpcip.verbose=true
and tell me what happens...
