No, there are no plans to use Ant in a near future. We have not taken any
decision against it, it's just that we have more urgent tasks pending, and
already lack resources to achieve them.

It is certainly not a very hard thing to do, but, again, it can't be reasonably
put on the list of our urgent tasks. I am really sorry about it, but I hope
that we'll soon have more manpower to work on Jonathan.

Anyway, I may be wrong, but I suppose that you could avoid modifying every
Makefile. Actually, you just have to modify the jonathan.config file generated
by configure, or simply replace it by your own, and then generate all the
Make.rules files in the source tree. Isn't it possible ?
