Hi,I know the standard javasoft RMI implmentation defaults to using RMI-HTTP(s) when firewalls are encountered. I will be deploying jonas in an firewalled environment. Firstly, the client will be behind one firewall and the jonas server itself will be behind another firewall. My concern is whether jonas's RMI implementation will use HTTP as the transport protocol if firewalls are encountered. If not, what are some strategies/alternatives that I can use to traverse the firewall?
Thanks!
No, HTTP tunelling is not implemented. I don't think there are any
alternatives, except opening the firewall.
