Some time ago, a Canadian friend of mine (that's the NJC waiver), sent me reams of script of how, I think it was General Motors, way back in the day, bought up a whole load of land across the great USA that belonged to what might have been the former AMTRAK company, if there was one, to literally, rip up the railroads.
