In the 'news' section, I see she played at the Edmonton
Folk Festival a couple of weeks ago and her new album,
'The Well', will be released in early September. I see that
she is also working on a movie project about the life of
Leonard Cohen.
"Her voice," says Cohen, "is like the California weather,
filled with sunlight. But there's an earthquake behind it."
'Famous Blue Raincoat' is one of my favourite albums, too -
especially the song she wrote with Cohen, 'Song of Bernadette'
- oh my!
