By the same token, Rodgers wrote instrumental pieces like "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" 
(one of my favorite pieces of music)...even though it was a ballet piece, is it still 
considered a song? 

I guess the gist of my question is: Is an instrumental a "song"?
