When I first read the posts and links about the Orwellian Clear Channel my
blood ran cold. They own most all the main stations in LA and it's no
wonder I want to puke everytime I surf the dial at work. I try to stick to
KCRW/NPR but have a hard time picking up the reception at work. Eeeuu,
checking out their website also gave me a shuddering chill. But after
thinking about it a bit, I came to the same optimistic conclusion as
Catherine. This could be a good thing in disguise and have a silver lining
because you can be sure there will be a massive rebellion against this at
some point and it *will* be like those hippie days all over again. In the
meantime I will look forward to them being swept offstage!
