I was there too! Front row, close to center!
Deb, where were you?
Alison, Debra and I were right up front after the show
Sorry we didn't get to see you!
The 6&B Garden is a really cool 'oasis' in the city.
Except for the traffic noise, especially a particulary well timed Mr
Softee truck, you could have forgotten you were in on the Lower East
Side, the neighborhood one of my grandmothers was from.
John's set list was taped to the stage floor, so I took the opportunity
before the show to copy it. Here it is:
Conversation
Rainy Night House
A Case of You
Chelsea Morning
Night In the City
Little Green
Circle Game
You Turn Me On, I'm a Radio
Shadows and Light
For The Roses
Blue
Down To You
Wigstock
Big Yellow Taxi
Magdalene Laundry
Both Sides Now
John will be doing a new show called "Shiny Hot Nights" at Fez on 5
Saturday nights starting in mid-October.
Debra Shea promised to keep us informed on that one.
John also showed off his dulcimer, the one given to him by Joni, and now
signed by her on the back "Joni loves John" in a valentine heart.
It was a wonderful show. If you get the opportunity to see it, please
don't miss it!
later,
Brei
npimh: the sounds of the Philly Folk Festival, where I hope Catgirl is
and will report back to us!

After twenty-three years you'd think I could find
A way to let you know somehow
That I want to see your smiling face
Forty-five years from now.
