You know, I'm not going to label this NJC. This morning, I was thinking about Marcel and his list bullying. I was also worrying about my upcoming root canal, trying to get my mascara on straight and get my kids off to school. Then the news: NYC, Washington, DC. What a nightmare. And this reminds me that you can be in the middle of the most mundane things like washing your sox to the most sublime such as giving birth or falling in love and Ka-Blam! Things you have no control over hit. And hit hard. My prayers and hopes go out to list members in the attacked area. It's especially painful to me as my brother and nephew work right in and near the WTC and we are still waiting to hear from them. Please let us all come away from this experience with a resolve to honor life and our relationships. Love our neighbors as ourselves and practice kindness and patience, even when it's easier to do otherwise. Peace to all, MG
