I just spoke to my friends in New Jersey - lord only knows how
I got an international line over there.
Kevin had been working just down the street from the WTC yesterday,
and was due to attend a meeting IN the World Trade Center tomorrow
morning. I'm still shaking with the combined shock of the whole
thing, and relief that one of my best friends is OK, although he
could so easily have been there.
The London Stock Exchange has been evacuated, and were I in any
major British or western world city right now, I'd be leaving.
